How we handle your data.

Short version: we don't run analytics, ad pixels or session recordings on this site. The only data we receive is what you choose to send us — usually an email — and standard technical logs your browser produces when loading any web page.

2. Scope & applicable law

This policy applies to the website at ddqz.ch. We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and, where applicable to visitors in the European Economic Area, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

3. What we collect

Server logs. When you visit this site, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical data: your IP address (anonymised where possible), the page requested, the date and time, your browser type, and the referring URL. These logs are used only to operate and secure the site and are deleted on a rolling basis.

Email correspondence. If you contact us via info@ddqz.ch we receive whatever information you choose to send. We use this only to reply to your message and to manage the resulting business relationship.

What we don't collect. We don't run web analytics (no Google Analytics, no Plausible), we don't load advertising or social pixels, we don't use session recordings, and we don't set tracking cookies. The site uses no marketing cookies of any kind.

4. Cookies & local storage

This site uses one technically necessary item of browser storage: a small key that remembers whether you have already seen our privacy notice, so we don't show it on every page load. No personal data is stored. No consent is required under Art. 6 GDPR or revFADP for strictly necessary storage of this kind.

5. Legal bases (GDPR Art. 6)

6. Sharing & recipients

We don't sell or share your personal data. Limited categories of third parties may process data on our behalf as service providers, bound by a data-processing agreement:

If you'd like a current list of providers, please email us.

7. International transfers

Some service providers may process data outside Switzerland or the EEA. Where this happens, we rely on adequacy decisions or EU Standard Contractual Clauses, supplemented as required, to ensure an adequate level of protection.

8. Retention

We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law. Server logs are rotated regularly; project correspondence is kept for the duration of the engagement and the statutory retention period thereafter.

9. Your rights

You have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, and data portability concerning your personal data. You may also object to processing based on legitimate interests. Under GDPR, you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; under revFADP, with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

To exercise any of these rights, email info@ddqz.ch.

10. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. The site is served over HTTPS.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our practices or the law. The "last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the current version.
