DDQZ

A focused practice, in motion, paired with AI tools that make new things possible.

I started DDQZ because the interesting work is at the edge — where tools change weekly. After years inside agencies and as independent designer, I wanted a practice small enough to keep close to the work, and broad enough to move from imagery to brand to workflow design without changing rooms.

AI isn't for everyone — but if it's for you, we'll know within a conversation.

You need to know your must-haves, nice-to-haves, and no-gos. The ones that have to ship. The ones worth iterating toward. The ones that would break the brand.  The tools are working. The workflows are buildable.

  • Image production at scale and on-brand.
  • Workflows your team owns after the engagement ends.
  • Honest scoping — I'll tell you when AI is the wrong answer.

A one-person practice doesn't mean a one-person delivery.

I run DDQZ as a solo practice. When a brief needs more hands, I bring in a network I trust. Retouchers, developers, strategists, producers, photographers, agencies. A single hero image or a multi-season campaign with thousands of images, the method holds: lock the look, run the work in batches, hand the system back.  That's one side. The other:  I'm always looking for people to work with.

  • Agencies needing AI-native production capacity on a brief.
  • Photographers exploring hybrid live + generative pipelines.
  • Studios, retouchers, and producers open to long-term collaboration.

For people in motion, ready to test, willing to discard.
